DIABETIC SUPPORT GROUP
We have a diabetic support group that meets the last Tuesday of each month
at 2:00 p.m. at the rural health clinic. Dewayne Butler, RN, Director of Rural
Health Clinics at
Franklin Medical Center provides support, training, and education on diabetics.
Free transportation is provided for these meetings.
FREE TRANSPORTATION
Free transportation is provided to the rural health clinic in Newellton and
to Franklin Medical Center in Winnsboro. If you need transportation for an
appointment or scheduled test please contact the clinic at 318-467-9949 in
advance.
KID MED SERVICES
The Newellton Rural Health Clinic has a full time RN providing KID MED
Services including immunizations, complete physicals, blood and urine tests,
health education, and vision and hearing checkups.
FREE BLOOD PRESSURE CHECKS
Free blood pressure checks are available at the Newellton Rural Health
Clinic. If you are concerned about your blood pressure, come in and we will
have a nurse verify your level of blood pressure.
