•Internship Confederate memorial in Shreveport – 1953 – 1954
•Family Practice Residency Program at E. A. Conway 1954-1955
•Residency Program in Radiology 1980 to 1983
•During his radiology program, Dr. Baldwin worked on week-ends in the Emergency Department of Franklin Medical Center

Dr. Baldwin has served the people of Franklin Parish from 1955 to present time. Dr. Baldwin has delivered more than 2,500 babies. Initially, he was a Partner of Hollis T. Rogers at Roger’s Clinic from June of 1955 to 1969. Dr. Baldwin opened his own clinic and his wife (now of 61 years), Monnie Sharp Baldwin, assumed the duties of Office Manager. Dr. Baldwin is a faithful member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Winnsboro, Louisiana.

Children: Vernon T. Baldwin, Jr. (“Tommy”), CRNA, and wife Pam; Richard “Ricky” Baldwin, Pharmacist, and wife Joan; Susan Baldwin Ellington, RN, and husband Noble Ellington, Jr.
