and Case Management
The Utilization Review and Case Management departments focuses on the medical necessity and allocation of resources associated with every inpatient acute hospitalization. Each inpatient chart is reviewed daily to assess and evaluate the current treatment plan so that each patient receives the appropriate level of care by using specific criteria that defines the severity of illness and the intensity of services needed. |
