Dr. Jimmy Coughran

Dr. Jimmy Coughran grew up in Winnsboro, LA. He received his Bachelor of Science from Northeast Louisiana University (ULM) and his MD from LSU Medical School in Shreveport, LA. He completed his Residency in Family Practice at LSU Medical Center where he served as Chief Resident from 1994-1995. Dr. Coughran has been board certified since 1995. After completing Residency, Dr. Coughran returned to his roots and established his practice in Winnsboro, LA. In 2006 Dr. Coughran expanded his practice and opened a second location, now providing healthcare to both the Winnsboro and Columbia areas. Dr. Coughran is on active staff with Franklin Medical Center where he served as Chief of Staff in 1997, 2001, 2007, and 2013.

Dr. Coughran is married Natalie Cormier Coughran from Abbeville, LA. Dr. Coughran and Natalie have two sons, Adam and Noah.
