Dr. Leigh Liles was born and raised in Winnsboro, LA. After graduating Winnsboro High School, she attended LSU in Baton Rouge. She earned her undergraduate degree in microbiology and then a masters degree in zoology with a minor in psychology. She received her MD from LSU Medical School in Shreveport, LA. She completed a psychiatry residency, as well as, a two year child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at LSUHSC in Shreveport. Dr. Liles served as chief resident during her general psychiatry residency as well as her child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship.
Dr. Liles has been board certified since 2011. Dr. Liles remained on staff at the LSUHSC-S child and adolescent psychiatry clinic for two years before moving closer to home. She now practices psychiatry part time at the Franklin Medical Center Rural Health Clinic treating children and adults.
