Dr. Melissa Traxler

Dr. Melissa Traxler, MD is a residency-trained, board-certified emergency medicine physician who currently resides in West Monroe, LA. She graduated from NLU’s pre-med program in 1994 and subsequently earned a Master’s degree in biochemistry from LSU-Shreveport in 1997.

After completing medical school in Shreveport, she trained at the University of Florida Health Science Center in Jacksonville, finishing in 2005. He completed her board certification in emergency medicine in 2007.

After working at Glenwood Regional Medical Center for seven years, she became a full-time member of the Franklin Medical Center emergency department medical staff in 2013.
