Behavioral Health

Behavioral Health Program

At Franklin Medical Center we have a Behavioral Health Program located in the Winnsboro Health Clinic that treats children and adults who are experiencing behavioral problems at home or school. A person can have confidential counseling with one of our Licensed Clinical Social Workers or our psychiatrist who assesses and evaluates our clients for medication and screens children for ADHD. We provide individual counseling for children ages 6 through adulthood. We offer free transportation.

We also provide Intensive Outpatient Psychiatric programs for the surrounding areas. These services are focused on group therapy treatments for our elderly population who might be confronting depression, anxiety, and/or other emotional problems that may arise from poor physical health, bereavement, or other life changes.

Franklin’s Behavioral Health program responds to crises in areas such as:

  • Frustration
  • Anger
  • Depression
  • Helplessness
  • Mood swings
  • Fear
  • Anxiety
  • Uncertainty
  • Parent/Child issues
  • Sleeping disorders
  • Marital issues
